The Traditional Prime Ministers Council in Anambra State on Friday 24th November 2018, conferred on the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator (Dr) Victor Umeh with a Prestigious Chieftaincy Title of Onunekwulu Ndigbo. In a very special and well-thought citation, the Chairman of the Group and Onowu of Neni, Chief Sir. Dr. Anthony Enukeme (Onowu Akuvom), CEO of Tonimas Oil & Gas Ltd enumerated some of the good works of Senator Victor Umeh in the few months of his stay in the Senate, as well as his commitments to improving the affairs of the traditional institutions in Anambra State. The group went further to endorse Senator Victor Umeh as their candidate in the forthcoming Anambra Central Senatorial Election. They stressed that the mandate of Senator Victor Umeh is for a divine mission that will benefit not just Anambra Central Senatorial District alone but the entire Ndigbo and Nigeria at large. They called on the electorate to vote massively for Umeh's reelection. They urged him to speak further and not to fear for any act of intimidation as the greater number of Ndigbo are happy with his performance and are solidly behind him. In a remark, Senator Victor Umeh expressed satisfaction with the positive reactions of not only the Traditional Prime Ministers but majority of the people of Anambra Central and beyond towards his performance in the little time he has been in the senate stressing that the honor conferred on him is but an encouragement for a greater work ahead. He declared his resolve not to relent in speaking in defense of the people of Anambra Central and Ndigbo in general whenever need arises and to use his office to make significant impacts in the lives of the people as much as possible. He thanked the people of Anambra Central for their supports for him so far and also pleaded for their continued support even as he embark on the journey to his reelection in 2019.
